Brookside Bicycles is based on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamsire. We undertake servicing/maintenance, repairs and upgrades for all types of cycles and offer a specialist wheel building service. All work is undertaken by a Cytech-certified technician at our workshop in Little Kimble nr. Aylesbury.
It's our pleasure to offer a collection/delivery service if required.
Weekly collections/deliveries to Marlow/Henley.
OUR SERVICES
BIKE REPAIRS, SERVICING
& UPGRADES
Here at Brookside Bicycles we undertake the full range of repair and maintenance jobs, and upgrades, for road, MTB, CX and children's bikes. We particularly enjoy building complete bikes - but no job is too small.
Our services include:

Gold and Silver bike servicing

Chain fitting, gear adjustments, brake adjustments

Headset, bottom bracket and frame bearing replacements

Hydraulic brake installation and flushing/bleeding

Di2 / E-tap installation and diagnostics

Groupset and other component upgrades (normally free if undertaken during a bike service)

Final assembly, set-up and full safety check of your mail-order bike

Complete custom builds (including builds using your parts)

Winter overhaul of your summer road bike is a speciality
Prices are generally based on an hourly labour rate subject to a minimum charge. All examples below are plus parts:

WHEEL BUILDING, REPAIRS
& HUB SERVICING
We love bicycle wheels! We build/rebuild them, we repair them and we service wheel hubs (including Chris King). We particularly like to help you choose suitable components and spoke patterns, and to expertly build you some fabulous, reliable wheels at the best possible price. Our services include:

Custom wheel building for Road/MTB/CX/Track using your hubs/rims and/or parts supplied by us

Wheel truing, repairs and re-builds – no job too small

Hub servicing inc. bearing replacement

Specialist Chris King hub servicing

We also offer contract wheel building for manufacturers and bike shops.
